I had a great visit with my endocrinologist. The doctor could sense my enthusiasm for controlling the disease and felt I may be able to help others. She mentioned that there was a great need for resources to support diabetics and suggested that I should get involved in diabetes education-maybe write a book or start a blog. I don't think she has many patients who understand the seriousness of diabetes. The doctor had no idea that I spent a year administrating a Facebook support group for diabetes, or that I had started a website. Our conversation got me thing how else could I reach and motivate other diabetics-especial the recently diagnosed. They have the most questions and need for guidance. So, I've decided to create a page that offer some free downloadable/printable documents that offer support, checklists, charts, funny and inspirational images, workbook pages etc. Just click the printables tab (or the link below) to download them. I'll be adding more soon. https://thediabeticblogger.weebly.com/printables.html Please share and like this post. It helps spread the word and gains viewers Also, if you have any ideas for documents you would find useful. Please leave a comment below.
